There comes a time in life when you can depend on no one but God alone. You’re forced to get on your knees and cry your heart out to the very one that crafted it. It’s nice to have those individuals that you can lean on, however they being mere humans can only do so much. God, creator of heaven and earth, is the only author of this book called life. Let Him lead! Stop acting like a bratty child kicking and screaming along the way; instead close you lips, grab His hand and hold on tight.
I’m still learning the method of being still and letting God be God. I can’t control my surroundings, there’s only so much I can do. I can try to be superwoman all day, but at the end of the day God is in charge. Just humble yourself and listen. In the midst of the storm is when He wants you to draw near to him, not further away. It’s easy to wave the flag of despair. Those who endure to the end will win the prize.
Press towards the mark. Don’t faint. Keep your dreams alive. God almighty is on your side. How awesome is that? The very God that created you is on your side. He will not forsake you. God doesn’t come and go. God lasts! For that I am forever grateful. Where would we be without His grace? Continue to trust Him. His love for you is everlasting, accept it and extend that love to yourself and others.
