Remember when I participated in the Nathan Gerard Fashion Show a couple months ago? Click here to view the photos. I also let you all peek at behind the scenes photos here. Well here are the final selections of some photos of me that appeared in the lookbook. These are showcased in New York City and other cities… fantastic right?! I’m honored to be apart of Nathan Gerard’s work. It was a lot of fun! Doesn’t this (the left side) look patriotic? I thought it was pretty cool with it being so close to July 4th too. Of course there is more.

Remember the fashion show I was in not too long ago? If not, click here to see the post. Well I did a photo shoot with the designer Nathan Gerard too. His designs are truly exquisite, and detailed. Creativity springs forth from each garment. I am in love with his collection. Anyways, he’s probably in New York right now pitching his designs to some big shot designers. I say that because he visited New York after his fashion show, and they wanted his work. He flew back home, called some models and put together a catalog of his collection. All the photos I saw of the models and I were amazing. He has such an eye for fashion. I thought I’d share with you my looks through the photos above. It was so fun!
Yesterday I participated in the Nathan Gerard Fashion Show at the Irving Theater. The theme of the show was, “What are the youth to do?” It was a blast! Nathan is extremely talented. His looks consisted of designs made from carpet, curtains, towels and even blankets. I mean he seriously makes a towel look sexy. Nathan has a passion for reinvention, the line aims to speak to our generation through an accelerated narrative and nostalgic idea of beauty. The mixture of patterns and textures is beyond amazing. I was able to capture photos during the eclectic fashion show. I love his work!!!
I had such a great time. Thanks to the team that put this wonderful showcase together. Also a special thanks to my fabulous cousin, Sally, and man of my dreams, Erik for supporting me.

I hope you all are having a fabulous day. This Sunday I will be modeling in the fashion showcase pictured above. All the details are in the photo. The event is free to the public. Trust me you don’t want to miss this. The fashion is so unique and diverse. Nathan Gerard is truly creative. You can find more information here. I’m so excited!
Oh my! Work has been incredibly busy this week, and yesterday I was assigned an additional story that took up the majority of the day. So I was unable to post a Tasty Tuesday before the day was over. Fail! I apologize. I will post my review still though. In the meantime I’ll show you all a photo shoot I participated in. Remember the Style Peek I did on the Love She T-shirt from Jasmine Marie of The Journ3y? Click here to see how I styled the shirt previously. Well she officially launched her T-shirts, earrings, bracelets and hair bows this week. All her items promote the message of self-love. Can you feel the positive energy? I sure can! Oh, and yes that’s me on the right in the photo above.
“Love She is to empower women of all shapes and sizes to love themselves for who they are and to be great,” says blogger and creator Jasmine Marie. You can get your hands on the Love She T-shirt and more by clicking here.

Hey Peekers! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. For all those that got up early to see my debut on WTHR Channel 13, Saturday morning I am sorry. The station seemed to have communication problems, and we were not able to go on television. Bummer! Hopefully this situation is solved to avoid this mishap in the future. Of course, I was still able to take a few photos though.
We were showcasing the denim trends for fall. The clothing was provided by Lucky B Boutique. I highly recommend them ladies, they have statement pieces at an affordable price. I just loved my outfit. Thanks Fashion Wrap Up for the wonderful time.

I will be on WTHR Weekend Sunrise, Channel 13, modeling tomorrow for Fashion Wrap Up (FWU) at 6:45 a.m. FWU has been asked to partner with Weekend Sunrise to showcase the latest in fashion, trends and beauty news. I’ve been watching and am honored to join them this time around. Yay! I am so excited.
Live TV is way different than I thought, but once you relax it’s fun. I know it’s super early, so set the TV to record. Or come back here to check out the video once it’s published. Of course, I will report how it went next week. Don’t forget to watch every Saturday and Sunday to see what Weekend Sunrise has in store for you!
You can check out my debut on IndyStyle TV here.
I think the reason I can’t keep my eyes open this morning is because I woke up extra early to model on Indy Style, Channel 8 this morning. Yay! I showcased a lovely top along with a maxi, vintage inspired skirt from Liz Alig. Both items were standout pieces, comfortable and perfect for summer. The cool thing about the clothing is it’s all made from 100 percent recycled material, and the designer works with fair trade groups around the world to produce the clothing. If you missed the segment, take a peek here.
Liz Alig clothing will also be featured at my blog party on Aug. 14th. To find out more about the Liz Alig clothing line click here.
Tune into Indy Style on Channel 8 TOMORROW morning at 9 a.m. to watch me model the Liz Alig clothing line. I’m so excited! Yay!
I have a busy day ahead of me, I will be modeling for local designer Liz Alig again. Yay! Unfortunately that doesn’t leave me much time to post. However, I thought it’d be cool if I let you see a snapshot of a me modeling her clothing last year. It was released today. I love it! It was shot by Jude S-R Photography. I wanted to keep my hair like that, but I ruined it of course. Ha! Let me know what you think. I’m out!
